We had our wonderful adopted college students over this evening for some soup and chatting. Because we were all relaxing in the family room, Caleb was feeling more than a little neglected. Finally he got right up in my face and said, "Mommy, I want you to play trains with me!"
Me: I can't do that right now.
Caleb: I want someone to play trains with me.
Me: How about BooBear (his stuffed sidekick)?
Caleb: No!
Me: Why not?
Caleb: He doesn't have any hands!
Ha! Good reason, son. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have more time for me to pretend to be Sir Topham Hat! Good night, everyone. And try not to cause too much confusion and delay :-).
Awww. Josey was too busy being evaluated by an IWU student for a class. Otherwise, we could have come over to play trains.
